Traklyst

Traklyst finds the tracklist of a DJ set. You paste a link to a set on YouTube or SoundCloud, and the tracklist is built on the page while the scan runs, with a timestamp for every track.

The brief

01

Challenge

Finding the tracklist of a DJ set means digging through comments, forums and half-finished lists. Most sets never get one.

02

Approach

Built as a product from day one: a recognition pipeline that checks published lists against the audio itself, with accounts, plans and a public library around it.

03

Outcome

Live at traklyst.com. Every scan becomes a public page, and the library keeps growing on its own.

The tracklist

Every track has a timestamp, a mark that says whether the audio confirmed it, and links to Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, SoundCloud and Beatport. A stretch nobody could name stays in the list as ID.

On a phone

Many sets are listened to on a phone, so the mobile layout was designed alongside the desktop one: timestamp, confirmation and links in one row.

The library

Every scanned set gets a public page. Together they form a library anyone can browse without an account, by genre, DJ or channel.
