EcoMobi
EcoMobi gives organisations insight into mobility, with data and clear visualisations for a sustainable mobility policy. I worked on the platform at Concept7, with Laravel and Livewire.

The brief
Challenge
Rural municipalities are moving to sustainable mobility and have policy choices to make along the way. EcoMobi is a policy support system for that: it makes the information behind those choices easier to reach and gives residents a part in them.
Approach
I joined the development team at Concept7 for a five-month internship. After a few practice projects in Laravel and Livewire, both new to me, I picked up features of my own for the MVP, from database to interface, with every merge request reviewed by my supervisor.
Outcome
My work is part of the product: data intake, boards, user management and a set of shared components. I left it with tests and written documentation of the architecture, so the team could carry on without me.
What I built
- An API route that fetches data from external sources and stores it, ready to be visualised
- Boards you can invite people to by e-mail, archive, and reorder by dragging
- User management with roles and permissions
- Reusable Blade and Livewire components. One text input is used 62 times across the app
- Accessibility fixes against WCAG 2.2: labels, ARIA labels and contrast
- Unit tests with Pest, a dark mode and documentation of the architecture
“Sander worked as a full member of the team: he took on features independently, worked them out, asked for feedback early and acted on it. His work is in the final product.”
